The Slovenian Matej Mohoric tops off a great season by winning the Junior Road World Championships race, making Fondriest a World Champion once again. However, this time it isn’t Maurizio himself, but one of his bikes, ridden by the recent Road World Champion Matej Mohoric.
The 17-year-old Slovenian Matej Mohoric won the Junior Road World Championships title in Valkenburg (Netherlands) on his Fondriest TF3 1.2, breaking away in the final sprint leaving the rest of the pack to battle for 2nd place.
Mohoric raced on a Fondriest TF3 1.2, a bike with a sleek & dynamic frame that performed superbly: every single detail was thoroughly analyzed by Fondriest engineers, in order to guarantee the best possible results.
Gold for Anna Maria Mazzetti & Daniela Chmet at the Duathlon World Championships.
The “Fiamme Oro” athletes Anna Maria Mazzetti & Daniela Chmet on their Fondriest bikes, along with the other “azzurri” Massimo De Ponti & Daniel Hofer, won the gold medal at the Duathlon World Championships.
The event took place in Nancy (France) on the 22nd & the 23rd of September. The athletes won the gold in the elite mixed relay competition by beating France & Germany, respectively 2nd & 3rd.
The Italian team came in first at the end of a race that consisted of a running leg (10km), followed by a cycling one (20km) and finally another running leg (5km).
