Kraken Plus 2
Popular among pro riders, the Kraken Plus 2 is Nalini’s top-of-the line road cycling shoe. The design was created to better hold the foot in place during power phase of the pedal stroke and to promote air circulation for comfort. The Kraken Plus 2 features a microfiber upper with reflective piping and a micrometric closure system using Nalini’s “Fly” aluminum buckle, plus two velcro straps. Underneath, the sole features seven layers of carbon plus a steel insert to ensure stiffness and efficient power transfer. The sole’s rubberized cleat mounting area locks your Look-compatible cleats will firmly in place.

The full-carbon sole features both 3-hole Look and 2-hole SPD mounting. The footbed insole sports a planter arch support and breathable air-flow technology. Octopus 2 The Octopus 2 is similar to the Kraken Plus 2, also using a microfiber upper with reflective piping and a shape that secures foot movement during the power stroke. The Octopus 2 differs from its sibling by escheweing a buckle for 3-velcro straps; underneath, a Nylon sole is bolstered with carbon powder for added stiffness. A rubberized cleat mounting area secures Look-compatible cleats firmly in position. The Octopus 2 weighs a mere 320 grams, and is available in classic white. MTB is the off-road sibling to the Octopus 2 road shoe. It also features a microfiber upper with a shape that limits foot movement during thrust, 3-velcro straps, and a nylon and polyurethane sole with SPD clean mounting, and integral lug cleats and removeable toe cleats for traction on that rare instance you put your foot down on the trail..
